Minister Shala congratulates the Kosovo national football team

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, has congratulated the Kosovo national football team after today’s victory over the Faroe Islands, following Kosovo’s admission to UEFA and FIFA.

Minister Shala has commended the presentation and game played by the Kosovo football team, and said that this proves the fact that we as a country possess high-quality and talented footballers and athletes.

Minister said that the Government, especially the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, is working intensively to provide conditions so our athletes have the opportunity to be represented in a qualitative and competitive nature, at a global level.

Kosovo’s victory tonight is an encouragement and stimulation not just for MCYS but also for the sport’s institutions in general, to work and commit ourselves even harder in order to be represented honorably and with dignity in the international sporting arena.
