MCYS invests 55 thousand Euros in Podujeva

Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, has signed today a memorandum of cooperation with the municipality of Podujeva, whose purpose is financial support for the project: "Construction of sports fields in the village of Kërpimeh and the area neighboring it and coverage of the field in the village Lubç i Poshtëm, in the municipality of Podujeva" which will be implemented in 2016 and where MCYS will invest 55 thousand euro.

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, said that this investment in playgrounds is in the wake of numerous investments being made in Kosovo, especially now when sport in Kosovo is internationalized.

He further said that MCYS is working in many ways to improve sports infrastructure in the country, in order to create favorable conditions for our sportspeople.

Mayor of Podujeva thanked Minister Shala for the continuous support he has been giving to sport in Kosovo, and said that through this investment, Podujeva significantly improves the sports infrastructure since it will create more favorable conditions for football in this area.
