The National Library inaugurated Noel Malcolm’s book "Imperial Agents"

In the premises of the National Library of Kosovo "Pjetër Bogdani" was inaugurated Noel Malcolm’s work "Imperial agents", a book which shows two well-known Albanian families of the sixteenth century, Bruti and Bruni.

The inauguration was attended by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, Rector of the University of Prishtina, Marjan Demaj, Ambassador of Great Britain, Ruairi O'connoll and lots of political, academic and cultural life figures of Kosovo.

Director of the National Library, Fazli Gajraku said he felt honored to have in the library as a guest, one of the renowned scholars of the history of Kosovo, and added that reading the works of Malcolm, Kosovars learn about the cult of documenting their culture.

At the meeting, about the book in question spoke historians such as Jaha Drançolli Jaha dhe Ylber Hysa.

While, a speech about the history of this book, for political and social context, the role of these two families in Europe that time, was given by the author Noel Malcolm, who said that he has written a book about the history of all Albanians.

On this occasion, on behalf of MCYS and the National Library, as a sign of appreciation and gratitude for the work of the historian Malcolm, Minister Kujtim Shala and the director Fazli Gajraku, handed him a gift.
