MCYS increases cultural support for the Turkish community in Kosovo

Deputy Minister of MCYS, Rexhep Hoti met today with representatives of the Turkish Cultural, Artistic and Sports Association "Gerçek" with whom he talked about plans, challenges and projects of the organization.

Deputy Minister Hoti stressed that MCYS, in the framework of the promotion of cultural diversity, supports the associations and organizations involved in cultural activities, therefore it will not be cut for the organization "Gerçek" in all its initiatives and activities.

The Deputy Minister said that the organizations of communities in Kosovo enjoy a special status and that MCYS will be collaborative in major projects undertaken by the organization "Gerçek", especially in the celebration of the 65th anniversary of its foundation this year.

Whereas, the head of the organization, Gülşen Bölükbaşi thanked the Deputy Minister for the reception and support that MCYS is has been constantly giving not only to the organization, but to the entire Turkish community in Kosovo.

Bölükbaşi informed Deputy Minister Hoti about the organization’s commitments and concrete plans, especially on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment.

Both parties agreed to further strengthen cooperation in the future, through concrete projects for the benefit of the Turkish community in Kosovo.
