The cooperation between MCYS and the Presheva Valley has been concretized

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala has welcomed today the President of the Albanian National Council of the Presheva Valley, Jonuz Musliu, the mayor of Presheva, Ragmi Mustafa and the mayor of Bujanovc, Nagip Arifi.

The visit comes after the official visit that Minister Shala had in the Presheva Valley and signed Memorandums of Cooperation with the municipality of Presheva and Bujanovc.

The visit marks the initial step of intensifying the cooperation and coordination of activities between MCYS and the political representatives of the Albanians in the Presheva Valley.

At the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between MCYS and the Albanian National Council, which aims to create conditions for cooperation in the policies, programs and cultural and youth activities in the Presheva Valley.

The representatives of the Presheva Valley, thanked Minister Shala for visiting that part and also for the support he has given to Albanians.

The Presheva Valley representatives regarded as historic the visit of Minister Shala and signing Memorandums of Cooperation which are the first of this kind.

Meanwhile Minister Shala said that MCYS is working more and more on the promotion and affirmation of Albanian culture across national territory. In this regard, he said that the memorandum between MCYS and the National Council of Albanians of the Presheva Valley, is the first step towards a more active inter- cultural communication, in view of recognition and promotion of culture nationwide.
