The sports fields in Gjakova has been inaugurated

Today, in the municipality of Gjakova has been inaugurated a sports field, a project of the European Union, supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport.

Deputy Minister Hoti, who attended the inauguration ceremony of the field said that such projects which aim to promote sports through the capacity building, are of great importance.

He said that such an investment of the European Union will help a lot citizens of the Municipality of Gjakova.

Deputy Minister Hoti congratulated the Mayor of Gjakova, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, for her commitment that Gjakova become involved in such major projects not only in the advancement of sport, but also beyond.

Whereas, Mayor of Gjakova, Mimoza Kusari-Lila talked about the importance of the project and thanked the European Union and MCYS for the support in the advancement of sports in this municipality.

Kusari-Lila said that projects of such are very important for the municipality of Gjakova.

Meanwhile, head of the cooperation in the Office of the European Union in Kosovo, Christof Stock said that sports field built in the municipality of Gjakova is finalized in accordance with UEFA standards.

Stock said that this is not the only project on which the EU is investing in Gjakova. He pledged that Gjakova will be one of the Municipalities where investments of this kind are going to be made again.
