Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Rexhep Hoti, met today with Alex Grigorev, chairman of the Council for Inclusive Governance (CIG) based in New York, and vice president, Shpetim Gashi with whom he talked about the possibility of building cooperation between MCYS and CIG through concrete projects.

Deputy Minister Hoti thanked the representatives of CIG on the contribution that they are making on important issues related to the different processes in Kosovo, not only locally, but also internationally.

He stressed that cooperation between MCYS and CIG could be oriented to cultural diversity, even if it is through the organization of meetings between representatives of parties from Kosovo and Serbia, associated with cultural diversity.

In addition, Deputy Minister Hoti, claimed that cooperation would shed light on our cultural heritage of the early period of history, and in that regard, our country is very rich, where until now dozens of monuments of paleo-Christian churches have been found, as well as other monuments that were used by the inhabitants of these areas at the time.

On the other hand, the president of CIG, Alex Grigorev, thanked Deputy Minister Hoti for the reception and expressed his interest about cooperation in areas mentioned by Deputy Minister Hoti, especially in the cultural field.

Grigorev informed Deputy Minister Hoti for the work that the Council he heads is doing, especially the contribution to Kosovo, the organization of meetings between Kosovo and Serbia to discuss important issues, such as the normalization of relations between the two countries.

Both sides agreed that the ideas discussed shall be concretized through concrete projects in the near future, between MCYS and CIG.
