The Youth Fair, an opportunity to exchange experiences

In the framework of the activities of the Joint Calendar Kosovo - Albania in the field of youth, in "Zahir Pajaziti" square in Prishtina, was opened the fair of youth organizations of the two countries, which is held in the wake of " Youth Days 2015".

About 30 youth centers in Kosovo and Albania today and tomorrow will present the activities and exchange their experiences.

At the official opening of the fair were present the representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Kosovo (MCYS) and the Ministry of Youth and Social Welfare of the Republic of Albania and representatives of youth organizations that are active in both countries.

Faton Peci, youth counselor, made the opening of the fair on behalf of MCYS, and conveyed the greetings of Minister Kujtim Shala for this event. Peci said that this and many other activities that are organized during the "Youth Days" are supported by MCYS.

Peci considered that the fair is an opportunity for exchanging experiences between young people of Kosovo and Albania, and said that now we have taken on a lot of work through regional and international activities in the field of youth.

Whereas, Jehona Roga, a representative of the Ministry of Youth and Social Welfare of the Republic of Albania, said that this activity is taking place in the framework of the agreement reached between Kosovo and Albania.

"With the belief that our two countries will have a genuine partnership, associations will be very cooperative with each other, in order to be more active in youth programs within the European Union," she said.

The implementer of this fair which was opened today, is the Kosovo Youth Centers’ Network. The representative of this organization, Krenar Gashi said that by organizing these kinds of activities, we aim at bringing young people of the two countries together and get to know each other more.
