Minister Krasniqi inaugurated the pavilion of Kosovo at the Biennale of Venice

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Mr. Memli Krasniqi has opened today the pavilion of Kosovo at the Biennale of Architecture in Venice. The Republic of Kosovo is participating for the first time in this significant event in the field of architecture, with the project: “The Filigree Maker”, of the curator Përparim Rama. At the opening ceremony was present also the ambassador of Kosovo in Rome, Mrs. Bukurije Gjonbalaj, as well as many architects and organizers of Biennale. more

MCYS allocates another 37 thousand Euros to conclude the renovations of the Gallery “Agim Çavdërbasha”

Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has provided the necessary support for the renovation of the gallery of our well known sculptor Agim Çavdërbasha, in Çagllavicë. The General Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Mr. Veton Firzi signed today another Understanding Memo with the Foundation “Agim Cavdërbasha”, through which MCYS realizes the rest of the amount for the investment in this gallery, which was burned in 2004.more

Kosovo is ready for presentation at the Biennale of architecture in Venice

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Memli Krasniqi congratulated for the work carried out, the curator, the commissioner, the board and the whole team engaged in order to represent the Republic of Kosovo at the Biennale of Venice, the greatest architecture exhibition of the world, which commences on 29 August and ends on 25 November. more

For the first time MCYS renovates 11 football stadiums, in a value of over 1 million and 100 thousand Euros

Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports will invest about 9 million Euros in the sports infrastructure, including among others the renovation of 11 stadiums, renovation and construction of sports palaestra as well as the construction of sports polygons. Except these investments, the budget will be allocated for the Multifunctional Centre in Mitrovica as well, where there will be sports grounds, mainly for individual sports, semi Olympic swimming pools, entire renovation of the sports palestra “Minatori”, and a business centre. more

Minister Krasniqi and Deputy Prime Minister Bozdag inaugurated Bajraktari mausoleum

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Mr. Memli Krasniqi together with the deputy Prime Minister of Turkey, Mr. Bekir Bozdag have inaugurated today the Bajraktari Mausoleum (mausoleum of Gazi Mestan) in village Mazgit of the municipality of Obiliq, which was restored by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency. more
